Timeline: when you create a timeline it will calculate the dates going forwards and backwards for all stages in the relevant plan-making process.
Pre-draft stage: this is a not a statutory stage for LAPs, therefore, this stage is not included in the LAP calculator. However, planning authorities may run this stage when preparing local area plans. Confirmation of whether this stage occurred for specific plans should be sought from the relevant planning authority.
Additional days: if any of the steps occur between 24th December and 1st January (inclusive) then the LAP Calculator will add nine additional days to the timelines to reflect the Christmas period, in line with the Act.
Covid-19: where a step occurred between 29th March and 23rd May 2020 (inclusive) then the LAP may be extended by eight weeks, in line with the Act. The LAP Calculator does not automatically calculate the additional time. Confirmation of whether this time was applied should be sought from the relevant planning authority.
